Alan Feirer, Founder

With a Master’s degree in education and a history of building solid programs in secondary education since 1991, Alan Feirer established Group Dynamic as a leadership training business that started in schools and soon branched into businesses and organizations, going full time in 2010.

Since then he has motivated people in all types of organizations and industries, from health care, to agriculture, to construction, to non-profits, to fortune 200 companies, and equipped them with tools to further develop their teams on a healthy and revitalized foundation.

He currently lives in Des Moines, Iowa, with his wife, Julie. They have an adult daughter, Mara. He enjoys cooking, eating, traveling, exercise, politics, family time, and all things Disney.

Lindsay Phipps, Business Development Specialist

Lindsay and her husband, Taylor, have three children and love small-town living. She is a graduate of Central College with a major in Religion and a minor in Psychology. Lindsay joined the Group Dynamic team as our Business Development Specialist and looks forward to matching clients’ needs with our programs. Lindsay enjoys spending time with family, discipling women in her church, and attending her kids’ activities.  

Sarah Wagner, Group Travel Assistant

Sarah is an administrative professional who not only serves her own base of clients, but also educates others about how to be successful doing the same. She holds an Associates Degree in Travel and Tourism and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and she is the author of Becoming a Virtual Assistant | Workbook. Her previous travel agency work included helping many who were visiting Orlando, making her the perfect fit for our team.

Rachel Braafhart, Director of Operations

Rachel has held an eclectic mix of jobs and loves adding new skills to her repertoire. She thrives on system creation, organization, and management. She is excited to be using these skills as the Director of Operations at Group Dynamic. A curious explorer, she enjoys traveling, hiking, meeting new people and hearing their stories. When at home in Newton, Iowa, she is passionate about supporting local businesses and hospitality — hosting as many dinner parties as possible. 

Cindy Leaders, Executive Assistant

After graduating from the University of Iowa with her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, Cindy owned and operated a successful daycare business for many years before transitioning to a full-time stay-at-home mom to her three children. Now that her kids are grown or in college, she has joined the Group Dynamic Team to use her interpersonal and organizational skills to build connections with customers. Cindy lives in West Des Moines with her husband Michael, and in her leisure time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, and cooking.
